Exploratory Factor Analysis: Validity and Reliability of Teacher's Knowledge Construct Instrument

The study aims to determine the instrument's validity and reliability in measuring construct of teachers' knowledge. cross-sectional survey research design used a quantitative approach, with pilot data obtained from 100 primary school teachers Trust School Programmed Selangor, Malaysia. selection samples was based on two-stage random sampling strategy. In this study, teacher's knowledge instrument measure teachers’ implementing cooperative learning structure. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) procedure employed identify factor loading value each item, as well number components for construct. EFA results demonstrate three teacher eigenvalue component exceeding 1.0, i.e., content knowledge, pedagogical technological 0.966, 0.967 0.961. total 0.967. entire achieved requirements study’s instruments can be by other researchers contexts.
